Ok, so its been a while since I wrote on this. So, here a few things that happened in August. It started out with a bang. Ryan was out of town most of the summer, so Quen & I hung out a lot. We went to the Kuna Days parade. It was hot but, fun. We went with my sister & a few friends. Then, we went back later that day & looked around at some of the stuff.







About a week later we went up to my parents house for their 25th wedding anniversary. I think they enjoyed having us kids there. Ryan was there for that... He got in the day before! YAY for us! We got our parents a picture frame that was engraved with the date they got married & a picture of them within the first year of marriage. Our parents loved it.












When Ryan got back into town, which was at the end of August, we went to the fair & took Quen on a few rides. And, by that, I mean, very few. He wasnt tall enough to go on very many.








A few days after the fair, we booked it to South Dakota/ Wyoming. We had a nice time there. We were there for about a week & a half. It was a pretty busy time but very fun.

1 year bday party

Happy birthday to my lil' man! You are 1 year old! Woot Woot! We had to do his Bday on the 4th of July because my father in law was here, Quen had surgery the folling week, & Ryan was going out of town. I wasnt expecting a big turn out but, man oh man, this kid is loved! We had about 25 people come. The big day was at the park here in Kuna. Quen had a blast eating his cake & socializing with everybody. Q is such a flirt! He ate some good food, played with the other kids, flirted with all the women, opened his presents (he got a lot of them, spoiled lil' turd), & was pooped by the time it was over.

My goodness, how time does fly. I cannot believe my lil' monster is 1 year old! We got his pictures done in Nampa, Id. Its called Portrait Innovations. They do a wonderful job, they are inexpensive, & you get your photos in 15 mins! How cool is that? Quen did great up until the end. He was DONE!

VISITORS

RYAN WAS IN SHOCK WHEN HE HEARD..... HIS DAD WAS COMING TO VISIT! YOU SEE, ALL OF RYANS FAMILY LIVES IN WYOMING & SOUTH DAKOTA. SO, WE HARDLY EVER GET TO SEE THEM. I MEAN, WE GO THERE AS OFTEN AS WE CAN BUT, YOU CAN DO THAT ONLY SO MUCH. HUGE BONUS... OUR NIECE CAME TOO! OUR LIL' KIRSTEN! SHE IS SUCH A HOOT! FUNNIER THAN CRAP! WE TRIED TO DO A LOT WHEN THEY CAME DOWN. I TOOK KIRSTEN TO RYANS WORK, WHICH IS ON POST. SHE THOUGHT THAT WAS THE COOLEST THING EVER. SHE GOT TO SIT IN A BLACKHAWK HELICOPTER. ALL SHE SAID WAS THIS IS SO AWESOME!" OVER & OVER. DURING THE TIME THEY WERE HERE WE ALSO HAD QUENS 1ST BDAY PARTY (THATS A WHOLE DIFFERENT BLOG), QUENS SURGERY, 4TH OF JULY, & JUST HANGING OUT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. WE ALSO WENT UP TO MY PARENTS HOUSE IN PLACERVILLE, IDAHO. KIRSTEN WENT ON HER FIRST 4 WHEEL RIDE WITH MY BROTHER. SHE HAD A BLAST.
QUEN & PAPA BONDED BIG TIME! HE LOVES HIS PAPA! HE ALSO LOVES HIS COUSIN VERY MUCH! :) I HOPE THEY CAN COME AGAIN SOON!
